Erica De Bruin is an Associate Professor of Government at Hamilton, and Director of the Policing Lab. She is an expert on civil-military relations, civil war, and policing.

Janelle Perry is the ALEX Program Coordinator at Hamilton, and Manager of the Policing Lab. She has extensive experience in community and workforce development.
Graduate research assistant
Haley Allen is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Yale University. Her research focuses on authoritarianism, coercive institutions, political violence, and transitional justice.
Graduate research assistant
Maren Mainx is a Ph.D. candidate in the International Relations and National Security Studies Program at the University of Central Florida. Her areas of study are militarization of police and public perception of law enforcement.
